Whitefish Review Presents Author Jack Turner
Mythic Beasts and Monsters release issue #17

Whitefish Review will host author Jack Turner and poet Lowell Jaeger on May 29 in honor of the release of their 17th issue, “Mythic Beasts and Monsters.” The literary event is hosted at the lakeside tent pavilion at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake from 7-10 pm.

Special guest Jack Turner, author of The Abstract Wild, along with poet Lowell Jaeger, will read from new work. Doors open at 7 pm with live music. Readings start at 8 pm.

The cover of the new issues features art by Stephen R. Bissette, the legend of modern horror comics who made his name as the artist on “The Saga of the Swamp Thing.” On the back, six young artists from Stumptown Art Studio give their interpretation of a Yeti.

The evening is sponsored in part by The Whitefish Community Foundation and Glacier Bank. For more information, visit www.whitefishreview.org or call 261-6190.
