Showcase of the Chefs Benefit Wine Tasting and Auction
13th Annual Benefit for Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation

The Showcase of The Chef’s is hosted each year by FVSEF to celebrate Whitefish’s skiing history and to raise money for the FVSEF Whitefish Mountain Resort Race Team and the Ski Heritage Center Museum of Skiing. The theme for this year’s Showcase is “A Tribute to ULLR”. Ullr, in Norse mythology, was the versatile god of skiing, snowshoes, hunting, the bow and the shield. He was a handsome stepson of Thor, God of Thunder. Ullr possessed warrior-like attributes and was called upon for aid in winter. Some locals believe that if the La Nina “epic winter” comes to pass, it will have been the work of ULLR.
