Saving Snow - Film and Panel Discussion

Across the country, people who depend on winter for their livelihood are feeling the heat. What does climate change mean for snow in our future, here in the Flathead and beyond? This 53-minute documentary looks at impacts and solutions across the nation and visits the ski towns that are paving the way towards a clean energy future. Find out what the snow sports industry is doing to save snow!

We have a great panel lined up to discuss experiences, science and solutions following the 53-minute film:
• Brett Cease, Ski Racer (appears in film)
• Anne Nolin, Oregon State University Hydroclimatologist (appears in film)
• Dave Hadden, North Shore Nordic Club
• Greg Fortin, Glacier Adventure Guides
• Mariah Galdstone, Whitefish Climate Action Plan

Light refreshments provided. Admission is free and open to the public.
