Paved bike and pedestrian trails meander throughout Whitefish. A segment of the trail runs along the river between various parks (and extends all the way to City Beach).

More About this Trail

Enjoy the sites of the meandering Whitefish River as you walk along the Whitefish Bike and Pedestrian Trail. This in-town trail is paved, and open to bikers, pedestrians, skaters and any other human powered endeavor. There are occasional benches and the trail is universally accessible.

Trail Highlights

Near Riverside Park, the Whitefish River walking bridge crosses the river. A nice look into the river. During the summer you may find kids jumping from the bridge and swimming in the river (when it is warmer and running slow)

Trail Distance

From half a mile to several miles depending on how far you follow the the Whitefish Bike and Pedestrian Path!

Not much - slight ups and down
